DESCRIPTION:  Russian table from the period of Catherine II and influenced by David Roentgen; top of closely matched French walnut veneers, framed by an ebony inlay and quartered veneers; tapered quadrangular legs embellished with brass ornaments against a painted black field, brass sabots and optional gold trim.
