It’s been a busy year at Stickley, one that included many proud and noteworthy moments. Here’s a quick look back in pictures—and a few words—at just a few exciting highlights from a memorable year. We can’t wait to see what 2023 will bring!
THE DEBUT OF MARTINE
We were thrilled to introduce the world to our new Martine Collection. This remarkable furniture makes the most of solid cherry and its ability to be beautifully shaped; the result is a gorgeous collection of smooth curves and dramatic arcs. In developing Martine, we also added a glowing new finish, Coventry, to our range of cherry finish options.
Martine made an immediate impression on customers and industry experts! In October, the Sunburst Dining Table, Side Chair, and Server, along with the Vanity Desk ,were named finalists for the 2022 Pinnacle Awards given by the International Society of Furniture Designers.
ORIGINS BY STICKLEY GROWS
Customizable Origins by Stickley bedroom furniture has been a popular, affordable option since its launch. In 2022, we brought these well-crafted designs to the rest of the home! Traditional Revere, Shaker-inspired Gable Road, and Modern Dwyer are now available for the living room, dining room, and home office, and all can be customized with your choice of ten finish options, nine hardware styles, and eight Crypton fabric colors.
THE NEW STICKLEY.COM
After a great deal of hard work, we launched an exciting makeover of our website last summer, updated with a fresh, modern look, inspiring photography, and more ways to engage with the brand. Visitors can explore collection pages with in-depth information on design details, craftsmanship, and materials. On our About Us page, you can immerse yourself in Stickley’s rich history, learn about our time-honored construction methods, and more. And a new store locator makes it easy to find more than 200 Authorized Stickley Dealers throughout the USA.
A SHOWROOM FAREWELL
In October, we introduced our newest products at the International Furniture Market in High Point, North Carolina—but for the last time in the North Elm Street showroom that’s been Stickley’s home for 26 years! Since 1996, dealers, designers, and members of the press have seen collection after beautiful collection unveiled within its walls.
Many fond memories were created at the North Elm location, and our CEO and Chair of the Board, Mrs. Aminy I. Audi, recalls a particular favorite: “One of my most treasured memories is that of April 2000, when our dealers secretly posed for a group photograph that was later presented to us at Dealer Weekend. They proudly displayed the front cover of Furniture Today with the newly introduced Bombé Chest from our Colonial Williamsburg Collection.” Today, this touching photo can be seen framed in Mrs. Audi’s Manlius office.
In April 2023, Stickley will open a brand-new showroom in the heart of High Point’s busy Hamilton Wrenn district—an exciting location from which to showcase Stickley for the industry!
A TRIBUTE EVENING FOR OUR CEO
And last but far from least, April 2022 brought a proud moment for Stickley as Mrs. Audi was honored by the Crouse Health Foundation for her lifelong commitment to service and community. The theme was “Mission Focused” at the black-tie benefit gala, where hundreds of guests—including a large Stickley cohort—gathered to eat, dance, and celebrate!
