Before You Finalize Your Order

Make note of any potential obstructions:

  1. Will the delivery truck have easy access on your street?
  2. Are your driveway and any nearby sidewalks free of obstructions?
  3. Is your driveway large enough to accommodate a 36-foot truck?
  4. Will all the furniture you purchased fit through your doorways, starting with the front door?
  5. Will your new furniture fit up your stairway?
  6. Are your home’s hallways large enough for our delivery personnel to carry your furniture through?
  7. Has space been readied in your room(s) for your new furniture?

Measure the Following Areas in Your Home

  1. Exterior/front doorway height
  2. Exterior/front doorway width and clearance to opposite wall
  3. Low-hanging light fixtures
  4. Interior doorway height
  5. Interior doorway width and clearance to opposite wall
  6. Stairway width
  7. Stairwell overhang/ceiling height
  8. Stairway corner width and clearance to opposite wall upstairs

For apartment buildings, condominiums, or homes with an elevator, it’s important to measure the elevator interior height, elevator opening, and opposite wall distance to ensure furniture will fit. If your building has a freight elevator, please reserve it in advance.

Furniture Measurement

Make note of your new piece’s length, width, and height, as well as diagonal width and depth. Your new furniture’s width must fit through your entryways, hallways, and stairways. And its diagonal depth must allow for turning into a space and for safe movement into the room.

Note: If an item cannot be delivered because it doesn’t fit, the delivery will be canceled, and you will be refunded your original purchase payment minus a 25% restocking fee, the non-refundable shipping fee, the delivery cancellation fee, and return shipping costs.

What’s Included in White Glove Delivery

White glove delivery is a premium service provided by authorized Stickley dealers and our delivery partners. The assigned team will bring your furniture into your home, perform any needed assembly, place the piece where you want it, and remove all packaging materials.

Important Note: The delivery team will not affix, mount, or hang any furniture, including mirrors; will not install the anti-tip mechanism included with your furniture; and is not permitted to remove your old furniture. You must engage a licensed professional for such installations and removals.

Inspect Your New Furniture

During delivery, inspect your furniture thoroughly. If you notice any damage, it must be reported to the delivery team before they leave your home and noted on their paperwork.

Delivery Cancellation Fees

If a delivery is canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery date, the customer is responsible for any applicable delivery cancellation fees assessed by the delivery service.

Important Note: Should you refuse to pay the applicable cancellation fee for a rescheduled delivery, we reserve the right to cancel your order in 10 days. In that event, you will be refunded your original purchase payment minus a 25% restocking fee, the non-refundable flat-rate shipping fee, the delivery cancellation fee, and return shipping costs.
