Rich History
For more than 120 years, Stickley has stood for unparalleled American craft. And our story began with three words: “Als Ik Kan”—to the best of my ability.
Discover a collection inspired by the British Arts and Crafts designers who made nature a centerpiece of the home. Surrey Hills brings nature indoors in a similarly fresh, organic way. While it shares Mission’s quartersawn white oak and generous posts, it trades spindles and reverse tapers for a framed trellis design iconic to its English cousin.
Surrey Hills’ celebration of nature plays out in a striking design detail. A grid wound with sinuous laser-cut vines—suggesting a lush garden of ivies and hidden bowers—forms the botanical motif at the heart of the collection. In some pieces, an airy trellis offers a variation on that theme.
Surrey Hills offers two distinct upholstery options. The Wood-Frame sofa group reimagines a Mission settle in slab-like white oak, and a beautiful Tuxedo-Arm group updates the wraparound tuxedo style with ultra-soft deep seating.
Two nightstands are available with optional stone tops in natural sea grass hues.
As Surrey Hills evokes an English garden, knobs and ferrules of satin brass add light that suggests glints of sunshine.
Recycled fabrics and a leather alternative lend their sustainable beauty to hardwood pieces and seating.
