Rich History
For more than 120 years, Stickley has stood for unparalleled American craft. And our story began with three words: “Als Ik Kan”—to the best of my ability.
Introducing a new collection inspired by the British Arts and Crafts designers who made nature a centerpiece of the home. Surrey Hills brings nature indoors in a similarly fresh, organic way. While it shares Mission’s quartersawn white oak and generous posts, it trades spindles and reverse tapers for a framed trellis design iconic to its English cousin.
Surrey Hills’ celebration of nature plays out in a striking design detail. A grid wound with sinuous laser-cut vines—suggesting a lush garden of ivies and hidden bowers—forms the botanical motif at the heart of the collection. In some pieces, an airy trellis offers a variation on that theme.
Surrey Hills offers upholstered furniture that combines plush comfort with distinctive Arts and Crafts style. Our Wood-Frame sofa group reimagines the look of a Mission settle in slab-like white oak.
