Monterey Mist Rug

I picked this rug because of the colors - but colors on the rug I received yesterday (9/26/2025) are significantly different. The outer edge color I thought was a golden brown is a very, very dark olive green. The greens are very dark and don't appear to have any difference in color. I do love the design - just a bit disappointed in the colors

I bought my Monteray Rug in Jan. of 2010. It has never shed. It is still perferct and one relative loved it so much she bought her own. One thing however, do not use a powerful vacuum on a wool rug. Use a medium vacuum height. Also turn the rug for even wear and turn it over to vacuum the back side. I do this once a year. Thanks Stickley.

We’ve had this rug in our family room for about three years and it’s so beautiful and soft, it makes us smile every day. Had just a little shedding, no problems at all. The colors are so warm and inviting, the ug really makes the room!

This is a beautiful rug, just not worth the money. You might think you're getting a lovely plush rug, but in a few days it will shed so badly that it will look like an army of insects have stationed themselves in your living room and the rug is their mess hall. Our rug has patches where it looks like a flat weave. If we wanted a crappy-looking rug we could've gone to a box store and saved ourselves thousands of dollars. Don't bother with this one.
