Time-Honored Craftsmanship
The casual Hudson Valley Wood-Frame Chair features an eye-catching exposed-wood frame in which every piece is crafted from solid American black walnut. A series of straight spindles is topped by an exaggerated curved cap rail, similar to that found on the Hudson Valley Spindle Bed. Sinuous arms curl over reverse tapered posts at the front, then extend fully around the chair to intersect the spindles and outward-sweeping rear posts. Finally, a wooden base supports an extra-thick seat cushion with sink-in softness and a loose knife-edge back pillow tailored for a perfect fit.

In general, caring for your Stickley wood furniture is as easy as light dusting, occasionally wiping it with a slightly dampened soft cloth, and protecting it from damaging extremes. Fabric and leather care varies widely depending upon the fabric or leather characteristics. There are many products available for cleaning leather and upholstery, but what works on one item may ruin another, so please use caution. Always test products in an inconspicuous area before applying. Please refer to our Furniture Care Guide for more advice on caring for your fabric or leather. Specific care questions not answered there may be directed to our craftspeople via our contact form.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
We believe strongly in the quality and integrity of our workmanship and products, and we want you to be thoroughly pleased with your Stickley furniture as it becomes an important family heirloom for generations to come. Stickley offers a comprehensive warranty on our upholstered products, with the understanding that upholstered furniture is inherently more prone to wear and tear from normal household use than solid wood furniture. The limited warranty on cushion cores and spring units is five years from the time you receive the product in your home. Fabrics and leathers are not covered by this warranty. The limited warranty on recliner mechanisms, sleeper mechanisms, and swivel/swivel rocker mechanisms is five years from the time you receive the product in your home.
