It’s difficult to believe our long-anticipated anniversary year is nearly over. It was a busy twelve months, filled with nostalgia, celebration, accolades, and a host of exciting new furniture designs that honored the past and carried it into the present. Here’s a snapshot of our most exciting accomplishments of 2025.
JANUARY – DECEMBER Commemorative Products
One of the most fun projects of the year was developing a 125th Anniversary Series of special product introductions, released throughout the year and each highlighting a different aspect of Arts and Crafts design history. First came the Floral Tile Collection(above), with five pieces incorporating ceramic art tiles from Motawi Tileworks that can be easily swapped out and refreshed.
Next, we unveiled the magnificent Fireside Bench, an adaptation of a 1902 Stickley Bros. high-backed settle featuring a variety of inlay motifs and techniques.
The Daffodil Chest, recently revealed and now available to pre-order, reinterprets a rare blanket chest by American Arts and Crafts designer Ernest Batchelder. And last but far from least, we’ve been working hard on one last special commemorative piece that will be unveiled later in 2026, so stay tuned. Also, all products in the 125th Anniversary Series have become long-term additions to our Mission collection, so it’s not too late to include them in yours!
MARCH Hudson Valley is launched to customers
In early spring, we were thrilled to make our latest whole-home lifestyle collection available for purchase through Stickley retailers and on Stickley.com—and the reception has been wonderful. Customers have embraced Hudson Valley and its distinctive update of traditional Americana and Shaker style. We even added a pair of new pieces by popular demand within a few short months of launch: a charming ottoman to accompany the Wood-Frame Chair, and the stunning Hudson Valley Desk.
APRIL Celebration at the Hall of Fame
The Spring International Furniture Market in High Point, North Carolina, provided a chance for us to celebrate Stickley’s 125thanniversary with important members of our extended family from across the country. A wonderful gathering of staff, sales representatives, and long-time dealers was held at the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame and featured a delicious catered meal, warm words from Aminy and Edward Audi, and video displays of Stickley’s history and beloved collections.
That same week, Stickley President Edward Audi was honored with a brick in the Hall of Fame’s Pathways of Honor during an inspiring ceremony. His brick is placed next to those of his parents, who are both Hall of Fame inductees.
OCTOBER Another Pinnacle on the shelf
At this year’s Fall Furniture Market in High Point, our Walnut Grove Recliner received the prestigious Pinnacle Award in the category of Motion Upholstery. The Pinnacles were created in 1995 by the International Society of Furniture Designers and are awarded annually to recognize the best in furniture design throughout the industry. Congratulations to Director of Design Marissa Brown, Associate Designer Joe Dunaske, Upholstery Designer Ron Lackey, and the entire Stickley design team!
DECEMBER Best of 2025
Finally, we end the 125th year of L. & J.G. Stickley on a high note—one that reminds us why our work is worthwhile. The expert readers of Furniture Today, the pre-eminent industry publication, have cast their ballots for the Reader Rankings of 2025, and just last week the results were revealed. For the second consecutive year, Stickley has been named the Best Luxury Furniture Company! Not only are we grateful to the voters, and to the loyal customers who make Stickley a part of their family traditions, but we’re also justifiably proud of every Stickley employee in our factories, offices, and showrooms. Their hard work and dedication have made our brand an icon of American furniture-making, and we’re eager to extend our 125-year legacy into the next era!
