We just received two of these with our new Martine bed. Aesthetically, they are a lovely ensemble. However, buyers should be aware that the drawers do not have stops mounted in them and the glide is primitive, similar to my 18th c antique pieces. Since they are shallow drawers, the likelihood of pulling the drawer and its contents onto the floor is fairly high. We are trying to decide whether to keep them or not. Yes, we should have tested this when we looked at it in the showroom, but who would have ever expected Stickley's "superior craftsmanship" to be this sloppy. Even my furniture retailer was surprised when I called to inquire.
Thank you for contacting Stickley Furniture. Due to size of the drawer we normally wouldn't mount a drawer stop for these. The side hung, center glided drawer is standard for most of our construction pieces. This is what we consider unique about Stickley.
Has absolutetly transformed our bedroom into a real grownup's bedroom! So classy, yet warm. I'm so happy with the quality, the looks and the practicality.
It's such a gorgeous collection! Glad you're enjoying it.
