Sitting on an X-shaped pedestal base, the Saranac 46-inch Round Dining Table's top opens to reveal a cleverly engineered butterfly leaf that quickly expands the table to 62 inches. The Saranac Collection is a beautiful example of the sustainable use of timber, crafted from rustic offcuts of black walnut with dramatic knots, surface checks, and swirls of light and dark that are unique from one piece to the next.

Using timber sustainably

In most luxury furniture, wood that contains rustic imperfections is rejected. But for Saranac, those same offcuts are reclaimed instead of discarded, the most rustic boards preserved to create an entirely unique look! Knots, wormholes, and swirls of light and dark color are not only acceptable but desirable, and no two pieces are the same.

A remarkable built-in butterfly leaf makes it easy to expand the Saranac dining table for guests. With very little effort, your table goes from seating four to seating six, and it disappears inside the table when the meal is finished and it’s no longer needed!
