It's made from solid walnut in a Black Walnut finish and accented with ebonized hardwood pegs. The clock's quartz movement is powered by an N-cell battery (included), and the dial features Arts and Crafts – style typography and Stickley logo.

The clock is very nice, but it could be a little bit bigger, that's okay.

When my husband and I were young, we filled our house with stickley furniture. Now that I have scaled down, our beautiful furniture graces our daughter’s home. Still, I have a few little reminders of our stickley style, this darling clock being one.

During our 46 years in our Prairie School home designed by Purcell and Elmslie in 1912, we have purchased many high quality Stickley pieces, have enjoyed them and have received many compliments over those years. I was contemplating purchasing this clock, but my reading of the descriptions and reviews convinced me not to do so. Plastic? Vietnam? Battery operated? Tiny? Stickley has disappointed me.
Hi Mr. Gross, Stickley owns three of its own manufacturing facilities: Manlius, New York, our headquarters where most of our solid-wood furniture is manufactured; Archdale, North Carolina, which is our upholstery plant; and Stickley International, our factory located in Vietnam. Ownership of the three plants allows us to use the facility that is best suited for the specific product. When it comes to our smaller e-commerce items, we are able to offer them at a rate more in line with the marketplace both by crafting them in Vietnam and by offering limited finish options. We are proud to stand behind these pieces knowing they are manufactured to the same exacting Stickley standard as pieces made in Manlius and Archdale.
